Yes, the title of this journal is exactly how the last few months have been for me.

So lets start off with the commiserations first:
My life has had a few melancholy ridden hiccups of late.
(For those who have read my myspace you would already know some of this)

+ I had to make a heartbreaking decision to have my long term and very beautiful feline companion put-down after a trying and difficult life together.
Leviathian departed on the 4th of April while I held him close and told him that mummy loves him. My blue eyed boy has had nothing but an uphill battle since being shot in the head by an ex-house mate. Though being a stubborn and strong little trooper, he recovered with some minor problems (slight retardation). All of these we considered quirks and it did not cause any discomfort or impair his life until recently. Hence why that heartbreaking decision was made. I had him cremated and have his ashes in an urn that work had ordered in for me (an upside to working in a funeral home).

+ Kate, my spiny leaf insect also departed after a long life of 14months, for those who were at last years Circa Nocturna Fashion show, Kate (named: Kate Moss...Umm you work it out) was the insect I had on stage with me. I was able to keep her and she lived a pampered and long bug-life at home. She passed on the 14th of April and is missed (yes even though she is a bug).

+ I also had to make a difficult decision to end my long term relationship of 6 years. With respect for my ex-partner and the relationship itself, I will not air details on the internet about it.


Ok, so now everyone has read the worst of whats been happening, lets see if I can lighten the mood with the celebrations!

+ I've been asked to be a committee member to oversee the workings of Circa Nocturna for next year, this has been a long term goal and will mean that I cannot partake in the modeling side of the event. Though from what I can gather my input within the committee will have a longer and stronger effect than walking down the catwalk for 15seconds. *yay* Go team me!

+ I've had some wonderful opportunities to work with some wicked talent on recent months and weeks and this looks to be increasing. I can't thank these people enough for the support/patience/love that some of them have provided and it's been nothing short of an experience to have met/worked/drank/smoked/bitch with some of them.
I have also formed some strong bonds and lasting friendships from this and to each of them (you know who you are) I send vibes of love, respect and honor to have known you.

+ I was recently blessed to be an Auntie. Jesse arrived with much fanfare and I can't help but beam when I hold him. There is a connection between Nephew and Aunt and he will be the most spoilt boy this side of the world. It was love at first sight and he has filled in a hole in my heart that had been vacant for some time. I already have plans to be photographed with him, so when time permits photos will be shared in the future.

+ My Birthday has been a gone in the last week. I was treated like a birthday Princess and spoilt rotten. I can't thank my friends enough for making my weekend something remember. I had a very deserving carefree weekend, all I had to do was what I do best....Dress up and act the Princess..
Photos are up and about on the internet and when I get a chance I'll grab them all and add them to myspace.



So a big thank you to all the well wishers and people who have offered support/laughs/sympathy/hug/present over the last few months. I'm not to vocal with my emotions but please know that your support is greatly appreciated and held deep within the core of my being.
